SWAT-CUP

The Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag) hosts an annual scientific competition called SWAT-CUP for students and professionals. The competition is designed to evaluate the performance of hydrological models in simulating streamflow and other variables, based on data collected from small catchments.

Teams from around the world participate in the competition, using their own models and techniques to simulate streamflow based on provided data. Teams are evaluated based on their ability to accurately predict historical streamflow and other variables, as well as their ability to predict future streamflow under different scenarios or conditions.
